I was asked yesterday to contribute to a piece inspired by Gwyneth’s Paltrow’s instagram post over the weekend where she shared a photograph of her ex-husband Chris Martin, with their daughter on Fathers Day, and applauded father’s everywhere.
It was an example of healthy parenting following separation, and the journalist I was contacted by was hoping to build on that sentiment with a more in-depth piece looking at how to positively manage divorce.

“Dear Cat, When my friend lost her job and was struggling I lent her £1000 on the basis she’d pay me back within a year. Me and my husband had saved the money for 3 years so we could go on our dream holiday to Florida.
